Morris Dancing in Norwich
Multiple site across Norwich city centre, Norwich, Norfolk
Colourful Morris Dancers will be taking to the streets of Norwich on Saturday 16 September. Performers from all over the East of England will be demonstrating traditional dances including Morris dancing with sticks and hankies, clog dancing and more!
Morris dancing performances will be taking place at many locations in Norwich city centre including The Forum and Chantry Square. This is a great opportunity to see a wide variety of different styles of traditional dance and a wide variety of costumes! Great fun to watch, and dancers are always happy to tell you more and answer your questions.
Dancing will take place at (subject to change):
The Forum from 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4:45pm
Chantry Square from 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm
Tombland from 11am - 1pm
Norwich Cathedral 2pm - 4pm
Pottergate 11am - 12:15pm and 1:15pm to 4pm
Madder Market Theatre 11am - 12:15pm and 1.15pm - 4pm
Back of the Inns (by the entrance to Castle Mall) 11am - 12:15pm and 1:15pm to 4pm
London Street (by the junction with Bedford Street) 11am - 12:15pm and 2pm - 4pm
Sometimes there may be a short break while the dances swap locations - wait a few minutes and we'll be back!
