The Old Court House

The Old Court House, Union Road, Farnham, Surrey, GU9 7PT

Set back behind railings, the Old Court House was built in 1888 as Farnham’s police station. The tours include a visit to the Magistrate’s Room and part of the old Court (up steep stairs). One of the cells has been preserved, so you can imagine yourself in custody! Tea or coffee and biscuits will be offered at the end of the tour.

The building is now the head office of Tindle Newspapers Ltd. and is opened for Heritage Open Days by the generosity of Sir Ray Tindle.

Tour lasts about 1 hour.

This event took place in September 2016 and the entry is now archived.
