With origins in the twelfth century, the church contains a wealth of artifacts attesting to its national and international importance. Bellringers will give guided tours of the tower. An archeological dig is currently being undertaken in the chancel

J. P. Pritchett Junior's design was opened in 1855, with 2 identical funeral chapels and a lodge, set in landscaped gardens. The site is classed as an Historic Park and Garden and designated a Local Wildlife Site in 2007. Open from 10am until 4pm

Lade Bank Pumping Station

Lade Bank Pumping Station built in 1937 with an old cooling system (updated in 2005). The architecture can be traced back to the 1800s when Lade Bank was used for canal boats. The Ruston and Hornsby diesel engines can't be found anywhere else (UK).

St James Church, Freiston

St James church, Freiston will be open for the weekend, 12th & 13th September, from 1000 until 1600. The old registers will be available to view, having been brought from Lincoln. The church was built over 900 years ago, so lots of history there.
