Lade Bank Pumping Station Open Day
Lade Bank Pumping Station built in 1937 with an old cooling system (updated in 2005). The architecture can be traced back to the 1800s when Lade Bank was used for canal boats. The Ruston and Hornsby diesel engines can't be found anywhere else (UK).
Sibsey Trader Windmill
Built in 1877, to replace an earlier post mill, this six-storey mill is undergoing major conservation to restore its cap, fantail and six sails, and to bring it back into working order. The project started in 2020 and the mill has been closed.
St James Church, Freiston
St James church, Freiston will be open for the weekend, 13th & 14th September, from 1000 to 1600. The old registers will be available to view, having been brought from Lincoln. The church was built over 900 years ago, so lots of history there.
St Peter and St Paul Parish Church, Kirton in Holland
