From humble beginnings to major landmark
St Thomas and St John's church is a Grade II listed building occupying a prominent position in the centre of Radcliffe, Greater Manchester. It houses a famous historic organ and a stained glass window depicting Radcliffe coat of arms.
Radcliffe Parish Church of St Mary, Greater Manchester/ The Church around the World
St Mary's is a Grade I listed building, parts of which date to the 13th century. James de Radcliffe 1355-1410 is interred inside. Nearby are the ruins of the de Radcliffe's ancestral home - Radcliffe Tower, and the Grade II Tithe barn circa 1700.
