Completed in 1610, Prescot Parish Church - is the 4th church to stand on this site since the 15th century. Built in local red sandstone, it replaced a previous structure which was "so dilapidated that it was likely to fall down".

Opened in 1844, St Mary's church is a beacon of hope in Knowsley Village. Designed by Edmund Sharpe, Edward Paley, and Austin and Paley. This Victorian church in Gothic revival style has beautiful mosaics, and a fascinating history.
