Visit St Bartholomew's Church , Roby and discover our rich heritage from 1850 onwards.

Pick up a trail map and wander around our Grade 11 listed building built in 1850 and then a short walk to Roby railway station, which was opened in 1840 by the Duke of Wellington. In 2030, we will be taking part in the 200th ' All Aboard' Rocket celebrations of the Manchester to Liverpool Railway.

A Priest ministering in Childwall is recorded in the Domesday Book of l086. All Saints is a Grade One listed building. Although the oldest part of the building is 14th century, Saxon stones can be found in the Church Porch.

Completed in 1610, Prescot Parish Church - is the 4th church to stand on this site since the 15th century. Built in local red sandstone, it replaced a previous structure which was "so dilapidated that it was likely to fall down".
