Wildlife among the ruins
There’s lots of wildlife to spot on the miles of trails available to explore at this Grade I listed parkland, including many accessible by wheelchair. Mobility trampers are also available and an access bus to take you between locations. The weekends can be very busy so the Friday opening is recommended for a quieter experience.

Enjoy a relaxed storytelling performance in a refurbished old chapel. Interactive with sensory elements, Ivy and Algie’s tales have been created for families who have children with additional needs.

Join this special tour to explore the design and history of university architecture. Specifically planned for people with visual impairments it will be audio described with possible sensory elements.
Hands on history
Get closer to history at this talk with the chance to handle some fascinating objects from the collection. The venue offers step free access to the event and has a Changing Places toilet.

A rare chance to visit this elegant Georgian lodging house. Take a tour, including one designed for BSL users, to uncover its history: from wealthy guests in Regency dress to busy shop customers and now a beautifully restored holiday home.

Drop in to this beautiful church for a quiet moment. Enjoy this short lunchtime opening, deliberately created to offer you space to pause and reflect.
Nursing through time
Discover the story of the iconic ‘lady with the lamp’ and much more at this open day. There will be object handling opportunities, and sensory bags available to explore the museum. All films shown are subtitled and a Bloomberg Connects digital guide offers translations.
Costumes and collaging
If you’re feeling crafty then why not drop in to this 1920s design inspired workshop. The Costume & Textile Association are running activities for all ages and abilities at the fully accessible Museum of Norwich at the Bridewell.
