A chance to attend a fascinating display and illustrated talk on the 200 year history of St. Austin's church, Wakefield. We will explore the early years of the parish through to the current day by focusing on key characters, events, and developments.

Visitors will have a chance to view a pictorial display covering key elements of the 200 year history of the parish.
There will be a chance to attend a short 30 minute illustrated talk covering key points in the church's history.
The church itself is open throughout the year for visits and services.

Timings & Tours

Friday 19 September:
Display opens 18:30 for talk at 19:00 lasting 30 minutes
Saturday 20 September:
Display is open for visitors and tours of the church between 11:00 and 15:00

Wentworth Terrace, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, WF1 3QN

Directions:
The event will be held in the parish centre situated beneath St. Austin's church on Wentworth Terrace. Parking is free on surrounding streets after 18:00 The centre is accessed by steps or a ramp and as such is suitable for wheelchair access.
