w2R is a state of the art waste to resource facility. We are giving people the opportunity to come and see what happens to Staffordshire's household non-recyclable waste and how it is turned into electricity.

Come and explore behind the scenes of an incredible Staffordshire landmark!

We are giving you the opportunity to see how we process waste that can't be reused or recycled. Journey with us through the heart of our facility, witnessing first hand how we transform waste into energy.

Normally only open to Staffordshire residents we are opening our doors to all, to come and see the work that goes on to stop Staffordshire's waste going to landfill.

This is a guided, walking tour as the plant has several open walkways and staircases, but should you want to partake in a 360° virtual tour of the plant then we can happily make that happen using our VR headsets.
