A walk around some of Loughborough town centre's Art Deco Buildings with Loughborough Heritage Open Weekend

On a guided walk around Loughborough town centre you will have the opportunity find out a bit more about Art Deco architecture, through looking at some of the beautiful buildings from the period. Come along and hear about the company from Essex whose work can be seen across the UK, and about a very local company whose work is showcased in Loughborough town centre, and can also be seen across the UK, as well as 'across the pond'. You'll be able to spot Art Deco architectural features, motifs, and influences, and appreciate why these Art Deco buildings are so much a part of Loughborough's history.
Please note that walks take place whatever the weather, so please dress appropriately. Note also that there are no trained first aiders available on this walk.
There are no planned refreshment stops, but the park houses a cafe, or there are plenty of choices in the town centre a short walk away.
The closest car park is Granby Street, but there are other car parks available.
Meet on the steps of the Charnwood Museum, in Queen's Park, Granby Street entrance.
