A guided walk around Loughborough, taking in a surprising selection of bee-related features!

Join an accredited Leicestershire Tour Guide on a fascinating walk hunting out bees around Loughborough! From architectural details to car parks, from benches to actual beehives, this circular walk will highlight some of Loughborough’s built environment, which sits alongside its parks, allotments, and green spaces.

This journey involves approximately two miles of walking, and while being wheelchair and pushchair-friendly, may not be suitable for those experiencing mobility difficulties. It is recommended that good walking shoes are worn.

Please note that walks take place whatever the weather, so please dress appropriately. Note also that there are no trained first aiders available on this walk.

There are no planned refreshment stops, but there are plenty of choices in the town centre, where the walk will being and end. This includes a variety of national chains, along with a wealth of unique local independent coffee shops.

The closest car park to the starting point is Granby Street, but there are other car parks available.

Meet on the steps of the Charnwood Museum, in Queen’s Park.

Directions:
There are entrances to the Queen's Park from several areas: the main entrance is on New Street. There are two entrances on Granby Street. There is one entrance from Granby Street car park, and two entrances from Brown's Lane, one via a subway. The steps of the Charnwood Museum are inside the confines of Queen's Park.
