Discover the fascinating character and history of the buildings, places and people who lived in Headingley Hill and Hyde Park in the company of Tony Ray, a retired Town Planner.

Explore the Conservation Areas to view listed buildings (some 'at risk') and other heritage assets including green spaces. You will be encouraged to consider sympathetic and 'out of character' elements and opportunities for enhancement.

Unfortunately due to the nature of the terrain covered, this walk is not suitable for wheelchair users. Please respect the needs of local residents when parking in the Headingley area.

Additional information

Internal viewing of buildings is not included. Tony Ray will be outside the Hyde Park pub from 14.15 onwards. The walk will end at the Golden Beam on Headingley Lane where refreshments and toilets are available.
