....what stories they would tell about the people who built and worshipped in the church and how Headingley has changed over time. Enjoy our 180th anniversary; explore the church, hear our stories; view photos of local shops and share your memories

We invite you to visit our church on Saturday, September 13th from 1000-1300 to explore the building with its original pews, gallery and pulpit, fine organ and 'church mice'. We have a brilliant new children's trail- The Great Architect Mouse Hunt, supported by a Leeds Civic Trust grant and our volunteers will be on hand for information.
The church was designed 180 years ago by James Simpson, the noted prolific Methodist architect and is a great survivor of his work, still actively used by church members and local community. We have an exhibition display about Simpson and the local people who built the church.
Our church members are currently developing an oral history project- 'Living Stones'- to record their own experiences of church, which will be available for you to enjoy on an audio trail of the church.
We also want to share with you our ongoing work on the Changing Face of Headingley, focused on the Otley Road shops and buildings in the past 30 years These offer a great perspective on the social history development of our local community, and we’d love to hear your experiences and memories of the local shops, cafes and social life over the years.

In our church cafe, our volunteers will serve delicious homemade refreshments and drinks on a Pay As You Feel basis from 1000 to 1230.
Please come in either through the church garden from Otley Road up the front steps of the main church door or via our accessible entrance at the middle door on Chapel Street.
