Join us for a short, guided walk of the churchyard and/or an opportunity to explore the church building and learn more about the Mother Church of Blackpool.

A short guided walk explores in a small way some of the people who influenced Blackpool’s early history.

Also, a chance to explore this beautiful, historical ecclesiastical building. A short pre-recorded talk and the opportunity to have a look round. All Hallows being the only place of worship in Blackpool until 1821. A Church building is believed to have been on the site since at least 1189, rebuilt 1773 and again in 1883. As far as we know, we are the only Church in England with a Norman entrance arch depicting astrological symbols.

Accessibility details

Wheelchair access to the church building is available via the bell tower. The building and most of the church itself is accessible, however access to the chancel and side chapel isn't due to a small step. They are however mostly visible from the front step. Wheelchair access is not available in the churchyard due to uneven grassed areas where the graves are located.
