Architecture, Heritage & The Flowers of Shakespeare. A display of art in the Stable of some of Shakespeare’s most famous flower quotes especially for Heritage Open Day!

The High House Community Group will be working together to make this a truly memorable fun day for families and other visitors. We will have two volunteers dressed in period costumes and we are hoping the Fairy Queen will make an appearance to make our day really special! Volunteers will recount the history of the Manor, Farm Buildings & the Dovecote and provide a Kiddies' Corner with some games and toys. We will also have an art installation in the stable depicting some of Shakespeare's flowers and famous quotes. You’d be surprised how many of these quotes still hold real meaning for today. Some are funny, some are sweet, some are romantic, and some are even a little sad.

The site and its heritage buildings were brought back into use in 2010 after years of neglect, with the opening of the Royal Opera House (ROH) Bob and Tamar Manoukian Production Workshop. The park is now home to Acme Studios, providing studio space to multiple independent artists and creative businesses. Some of the original Grade II listed farm buildings have been restored for community and business use.
