Visit the Town Hall which sits in the heart of Berwick and enjoy photographs from Berwick Archives amazing photographic collections. Help us identify individuals from the 1970s to the early 2000s and see what life was like then.

Berwick Record Office holds over 2 million images of Berwick and the surrounding area which relate to the 1950s to the early 2000s. This year we will show a series of images relating to all the years beginning with a 6 from 1976 to 2006. Take a trip down memory lane.

The building itself is an amazing structure built in the late 1750s and 1760s to house the town's administration.

In addition to the exhibition, the Guildhall will also play host to other historical displays, children's activities, a book stall,talks, film shows and much more.

Additional information

This building acts as the hub for Berwick Heritage Open Days over the weekend. There will be a series of talks and also slide shows in the Council Chamber. Other Heritage Open Days events will take place in the building over the weekend - bell ringing and access to the Gaol . See separate entries
