Grade I–listed building dates back to the 14th century, with 16th-century additions and early 20th-century restorations. For two days only, Lancashire County Council’s Outdoor Education Service will throw open its doors, offering you a unique glimpse into its storied past. Take a self-guided tour to discover insights on this fascinating house. Homemade baked goods and hot drinks will be available to purchase during opening hours. Please note that we can only accept cash payments. Borwick Hall is open 10am to 4pm, last entry to the house is 3pm.

- Directions:
- Please park in the staff car park on Borwick Lane
1. From the M6 (J35): Follow signs for Carnforth and Milnthorpe. At the first roundabout, take the second exit (Milnthorpe A6). At the next roundabout, take the third exit (Borwick). Continue over the humpback canal bridge; the car park is on the left.
2. From Burton in Kendal: Follow the A6070 south. Turn left at the Longlands Hotel. At the crossroads, turn left. Continue over the humpback canal bridge; the car park is on the left.
3. From Kirkby Lonsdale: Take the B6254 past Arkholme. Turn right where signposted Capenwray and Borwick. In Borwick, turn left at the village green. The staff car park is immediately on your right.
