Build a Lego church and village; exhibition of plans and photos; talk about St Thomas church, Stanhope by Dr Rob Young

Build a Church, Build a Village - come and add some bricks to our Lego church or build a cottage for the Lego village.

Small exhibition of some architectural features: a way of investigating changes to buildings; some interesting coincidences between historic North Pennines houses and some further afield; photographs of a variety of church doorways (and the chance to design one yourself).
Also the opportunity to see and discuss the plans for the "Saving St Edmund's" project.

On-street parking. There are public toilets in the village. There are two small steps into the church which wheelchairs can negotiate with assistance; they cannot access the chancel. There is limited space inside the church.
