Building and Rebuilding the Body - Exhibition
17 St. Davids Hill, Exeter, Devon, EX4 3RG
A free Exhibition from Devon & Exeter Medical Heritage Trust. Created by and co-curated with our University of Exeter intern, Alisha Burr.
From the earliest post-mortems and medical drawings of the body to modern imaging, seeing and understanding how our bodies are built - and therefore how we can rebuild them - has grown and evolved over thousands of years.
Discussing post-mortems, illustrations, teaching, medical imaging and orthopaedics - we will display objects from our collection, including the earliest x-ray tubes used in Exeter!
