Calderdale Industrial Museum tells the story of how the industry of the past shaped the Calderdale of today, from the early textile industries through to a thriving industrial powerhouse.

This family friendly accessible museum is a treat for all ages, offering a wealth of historical knowledge and fascinating stories from all round the region. Our four floors allow you to explore a wide range of industries including textile and engineering, but also covering cork, toffee, leather washing machines to name a few.
Open from 10am - 4pm with last entry at 3pm. We advise allowing at least 2 hours for your visit. Our popular, recently licensed cafe serves light lunches and snacks, cakes, and hot and cold drinks which means you can take a break during your visit.
We will be open for free entry as part of Heritage Open Days on Saturday 13th September.
