Carton Collagraphs with The Living Barracks

In this FREE workshop you will be able to experiment with this creative and low-cost printing technique using recycled materials to create a unique artwork to take home. All materials provided. All ages are welcome but children should be accompanied by an adult.

The Living Barracks Project is a partnership between English Heritage, The Maltings (Berwick) Trust, Kings Own Scottish Borderers, Northumberland County Council and BBHT. It is breathing new life into Berwick’s historic Barracks, restoring their place at the heart of the town’s cultural and community life. Ahead of the site’s full reopening in 2028, an inspiring programme of art, heritage and community projects is already unfolding - created with and for the people of Berwick, thanks to the generous support of The National Lottery Heritage Fund and the UK Government’s Cultural Development Fund. Together, we’re rediscovering what the Barracks have been, will be and could become.

- The gates to the Barracks will be open. The event will be held in the Store House. Go across the Parade Ground to the building with the clock. . Look out for the bunting outside the door.

Last admission time for the workshops Is 3pm. There will be other events happening on the site and there are also lots of events happening nearby. Free parking is available in the Parade Carpark.
