CWGC Tours 2026 - Scarborough (Woodlands) Cemetery
Woodlands Drive, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO12 6QN
The first burials took place in Woodlands cemetery in 1941 so only casualties from the Second World War are buried here. However, one of the casualties also served in the Great War and was awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Medal, we talk about the action that led to his award. We also visit the graves of a couple of Polish soldiers, some civilian casualties, a Home Guard Sergeant and a sailor who died in shocking circumstances.

Accessibility details
The tour lasts approx. 75 mins and covers about 800 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground and slopes. Parking is available on-site and nearby. There are no on-site facilities but toilets are available at the crematorium. Please bring water if required. Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear. Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome in the cemetery.
