Exhibition: Blofield - A Living History
Margaret Harker Hall, Yarmouth Road, Blofield, Norwich, Norfolk, NR13 4LE
Explore the recent history of our local community through the perspectives of villagers, living here. Portraits, interviews and historic artefacts combine to offer a fresh perspective of Blofield's history over the past 125 years.
The exhibition is suitable for all ages, and includes a recent deep dive into our archival heritage to show you examples of day-to-day life running the Village Hall and experiencing being part of clubs, societies and events held at the site through the last few decades.
There will be two further exhibitions included: a collection of material about Margaret Harker herself, as a former resident of the village, researched and presented by Barbara Pilch. There will also be an exhibition about Blofield Tennis Club, which has formed part of the site for over 100 years.
