Join us for an insightful event hosted by the CWGC and the Herbert Baker Society. We will explore the work and legacy of Sir Herbert Baker- celebrated architect and proud son of Kent.

The day will start with a talk about Baker, the integral part he played in the founding principles of architectural design for the Imperial War Graves Commission and some of his key sites, by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and renowned historian, Professor Mark Connelly of Connelly Contours. Following this, an exploration of his wider and ongoing legacy will be presented by the newly launched Herbert Baker Society.
