His 20 acres garden will be in full harvest mode and our garden team will be on hand to show you how we cultivate our kitchen garden in both an 18th Century and modern way.

You will also be able to visit the Oates Collections, which tell the stories of two other natural explorers Frank Oates, whose diaries and notes from his travels in Southern Africa led to the identification of several species and Lawrence Oates who travelled to the South Pole with Scott between 1910 and 1912.
