Come and look around this old Hedon house, built in 1830

Lambert House was built by a local builder in 1830. In 1865 the White family were fruit brokers, sugar merchants and invested in deep sea fishing. They added salvaged ruins to the gardens and built a stone room. Col. William Lambert White, a sportsman, traveller, early adopter and amateur soldier, as well as a successful business man, took over the property from his father and brought up his family here.
After the Second World War it was acquired by Distillers Ltd. Of Salt End and has passed to the owners of the developing chemical site over the years. It is now in the possession of a local family who have been kind enough to allow its preserved grandeur to be on show.
