From a private residence to the home of Weston Park Museum and the green landscaped grounds of today, this tour delves into the everyday history of Weston Park and cherry picks a selection of statues, buildings and interesting objects which make up one of our city’s most popular green spaces.
This walking tour is a pilot and will be delivered for free as part of Heritage Open Days 2026.

Accessibility details
As an outdoor event lasting around 90 minutes, we recommend wearing sensible footwear and clothing, and bringing an umbrella in case of wet weather. If the weather is particularly bad and we have to cancel, you will receive an email in the week before the event. There may be uneven surfaces. Toilet facilities are available at the start of the walk at Weston Park Museum.
