Hill Close Gardens is a rare example of a once common sight, Victorian detached gardens. First opened in 1845, they provide a fascinating glimpse into the past, and a wonderful place for families to explore. The plots were looked after by local families living in townhouses who didn’t have their own gardens, and are located just a stone’s throw away from Warwick’s Market Square. Families and children will love exploring the winding paths, discovering hidden corners, and learning how plants were grown in Victorian times, it is a place to spark curiosity and a love of nature.
