Explore the history and stories of Stoneleigh from its connections to Henry VIII, the Pre-Raphaelites and Joe Orton to the community of today.

Diana Kay's talk will give an overview of how Stoneleigh developed from farmland, that was once part of the Great Park of Henry VIII, into an distinct neighbourhood within Epsom and Ewell. It will also give an insight into John Jefferies Stone and the house called Stoneleigh after which the area was named.
