We are lucky enough to live in an area with really interesting and historic architectural features dating back to medieval times from its quarried Horsforth Stone and through to modern developments.
What to expect on our mapped trail?
Visit a 16th Century Manor House with its Tudor archway, Horsforth Sandstone, sash and mullion windows – find the QR code which will lead you to drone footage of the architecture up close and personal.

Discover one of many red telephone boxes on Town Street - find the QR code which will lead you to a painting of the telephone box outside the Old Kings Arms with further information about the designer of the box and information about the Old Kings Arms.
Finally
Rest in the Peace garden – find the QR code which will lead to a video of the Old Bell Chapel being brought back to life.
Hunt down many more QR codes to be inspired by poetry, music, paintings, drone footage and historic films.

Access Restrictions There may be some Points on the map that are not fully accessible to wheelchair and pushchair users but these will be highlighted on the map and an alternative QR code provided so you do not miss out. Please note that as this event is self-guided, you are responsible for your own saftey. Starting point The starting point will be at the Museum which will not be open at all time. Maps will made available from outside the museum but please visit back here in the future to understand opening times if you wish to also visit the museum and alternative sources for the map.
