Enjoy a family friendly self guided trail around Horsforth either using our map to find unique QR codes or even on our geocache hunt! Learn interesting architectural facts through art, videos and music.

We are lucky enough to live in an area with really interesting and historic architectural features dating back to medieval times from its quarried Horsforth Stone and through to modern developments.

What to expect on our mapped trail?

Visit a 16th Century Manor House with its Tudor archway, Horsforth Sandstone, sash and mullion windows – find the QR code which will lead you to drone footage of the architecture up close and personal.
or
Discover one of many red telephone boxes on Town Street - find the QR code which will lead you to a painting of the telephone box outside the Old Kings Arms with further information about the designer of the box and information about the Old Kings Arms.
Finally
Rest in the Peace garden – find the QR code which will lead to a video of the Old Bell Chapel being brought back to life.

Hunt down many more QR codes to be inspired by poetry, music, paintings, drone footage and historic films.

Are you a geocaching enthusiast? Then keep your eyes peeled for a special geocache hunt around Horsforth based on the locations of the trail!
