Howden's Vintage Exhibition

This exhibition will feature a vintage slide show illustrating some of the buildings in Howden in the 1960s and what they look like now. We will also be showing the town's original mural which used to be sited in a vacant site in Howden Market Place. Fortunately it was photographed and we have created a new version of it which shows Howden's history from the 9th century to the 20th century. Many other displays will feature buildings in Howden together with their history and booklets can be bought telling you more of the town's heritage.

- Come to Junction 37 on the M62 and follow the signs to Howden. Howden Minster is visible for miles around. The Shire Hall is opposite the east end of the Minster in the Market Place.
