Explore the trades of historic Liskeard and District through this multisensory museum trail suitable for all ages.

Discover the stories, objects and everyday lives behind local occupations such as a miner and toy seller through informative stations and interactive story sacks. Across the museum, themed stations introduce different local occupations that connect to each museum room, from mining to outfitting.

Each stop explores a day in the life of different workers in historic Liskeard and District. Museum visitors are invited to engage with thoughtfully curated story sacks, containing evocative and multisensory prompts that reveal how people once worked and lived in this area.

The trail encourages exploration at different levels allowing younger visitors to play and discover while grown-ups can pause to reflect, remember, and share their own tales.
