Liskeard Unlocked - Walk to Discover Employers & Employees in 1891 Liskeard

The walk will be stopping outside many business premises to hear about the owners and their live-in staff, ending with a short tour inside a former Victorian day-school.

The walk is for only one mile along paved streets; will last about one and a half hours, but with many opportunities to depart earlier.

Accessibility details

There are public toilets at Westbourne Car Park. The walk route is on pavements along streets with little traffic and includes a short incline and one road to cross. The former school is not accessible to wheelchairs; it is now a private residence so please treat it as you would your own home.

Additional information

The route will have some short uphill sections. In the event of inclement weather a decision will be made on the day whether to proceed, but dress according to the Met Office forecast.
