Visit a 200+ year old chapel & adjacent cemetery set in 10 acres of hilly countryside in the beautiful Loxley Valley.

View from a distance a chapel-of-ease built in 1787 to serve St Nicholas Church at High Bradfield. The chapel was subsequently sold to Protestant dissenters & then to the Methodist movement before closure in 1994 and gutting by fire in 2016.The chapel is Grade II* listed and on the 'Heritage at Risk' register. Visit a 220 year-old graveyard complete with grand monuments, pauper graves, memorials and victimes of the 1864 Sheffield Flood. The graveyard contains approximately 10,000 interments. There will be a free 'find a grave' service on the day.
