The Maeldune Heritage Centre in Maldon, Essex, is a community-run hub celebrating local history, located in the historic St Peter’s Tower on Market Hill. It is best known for housing the 42-foot Maldon Embroidery (1991) and serving as the town's visitor information point, featuring local art exhibitions. While the site is available to visit throughout the 15th-19th; however HOD activities will be available from the 16th-19th. Key Features and Highlights The Maldon Embroidery: A 42-foot masterpiece commemorating 1,000 years of history since the 991 Battle of Maldon. Exhibition Hall: Showcases revolving work from local artists, including paintings, textiles, and photography.
