Discover the people, landscape and wildlife of the broads through our displays and interactives, spread across five museum buildings.

Experience period room settings, learn about sailing dinghies and visit the Maltsters Bar.
Find out about the process of boat building and meet some of our iconic boats.
Discover how the Broads were formed.
Meet Eric the marshman and Joyce the coypu. Learn about the natural history of the Broads.
Find out about wherries, climb inside our wherry cuddy and learn about the importance of wind power.

Take part in a craft activity or follow one of our self guided tours. Fun museum trail for children of all ages and traditional games.
Learn how to throw a rope to rescue someone in trouble in the water.

Guided boat trips on our fully accessible electric boat, Marsh Harrier, at an additional charge - please see our website to book in advance. Wheelchair lift available.

We sell souvenirs, ice-creams, hot and cold drinks and snacks or bring your own picnic and enjoy our lovely river setting.
