This year is the Centenary year for the Blackburn Diocese. The diocese was founded in 1926 by William Temple. The Centenary is an opportunity for everyone to come together to celebrate at St Mary's church in Rufford L40 1TA. Here at Rufford we have planned to do just that.
On Saturday 12th September 2026 between 10am and 4pm we have planned lots of wonderful activities which will appeal to all ages. There will be Treasure Hunts, Chocolate Bingo,Craft Folk singing, the school choir and much more
We intend to make it a wonderful day of reaching out with a good news message and inviting people to know Jesus. Refreshments will be available, so why not bring a picnic and make a day of it.
