Join us for a talk which celebrated the Villages links to D.H. Lawrence.

Betjeman once described Teversal Village as a 'rural oasis' in the former 'coal producing area on the Notts - Derby border'. As part of our weekend celebrating the rich history of the area, Nottingham University's, James Walker, will hold a talk that will explore the village's links D.H. Lawrence.

James is the editor of the D. H. Lawrence Society bulletin and produces monthly essays called 'Locating Lawrence', based on Lawrence's letters.

The event is free, but donations towards the upkeep of the church will be gratefully received.
