Join James Leighton on a walking tour around the Jewellery Quarter talking about the photographic companies that once made it their home. Today most people would not realise that Birmingham was a thriving area making cameras and photographic equipment for over 100 years, and the Jewellery Quarter was an important area within this. This walking tour will show you where these companies were and what they made.
A part of James’ historic collection of cameras and associated equipment, all made in the Jewellery Quarter, is on display at the Hive.
This walk starts and ends at the Hive.
This tour is for a small number of people (15). To avoid disappointment for the organiser & guide and those on the waiting list, please cancel your ticket on Eventbrite if you have booked but find you can no longer attend. Your place will then be offered to someone else.

The Hive is fully wheelchair accessible. The tour will be using public pavements and roads. Refreshments available in the Hive cafe at start and end of the walk, accessible toilets at the Hive.
