Church House

30 Church Street, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 1EP

Dating from the Middle Ages with medieval and Victorian features including timber framing and a magnificent staircase. Parts of the building are 15th or 16th century and the ornate barge boards were renewed in the 19th century. The date 1086 is over the front door but the building is not that old, the date refers to mention in the Domesday Book of Ranulf Flambard’s holding of the church and land.
