The Eye Bach Choir Open Rehearsals in Eye offering free access to see and hear this acclaimed choir as they prepare for their 50 year celebration performances.

If you have never been to one of the Eye Bach Choir performances or you are not familiar with this type of performance this is a very rare opportunity to see and understand the choir. Offering an insight into their singing and performing standards, and the exciting world of performing arts you can expect to be entertained at the highest level.
Eye Bach Choir, founded by Merlin and Ann Channon in 1974, is one of Suffolk’s foremost choirs and proudly about to celebrate its 50th Anniversary Season. They have over forty singers and a tradition of excellent performance throughout Suffolk and beyond.
Their repertoire covers works from the sixteenth to the twentieth century, although they of course honour J.S.Bach in their title. They have performed Byrd to Britten and Tippett to Bach, Handel and Mozart – to name but a few of the many eminent composers whose work they have had the pleasure to learn and perform over the decades.

We are always open to welcoming new members and warmly invite any enthusiastic choristers interested in joining our friendly sociable choir please get in touch. Come along to the Eye Bach Choir Open Rehearsals enjoy the ambience of the 19th Century building or singing and meet with members of the choir. We rehearse weekly at Eye Town Hall, over three terms a year.
