Girlguiding Norfolk County Archive Resource Centre’s: Cotton Reels, camps and curating
Girlguiding Norfolk Archive Resource Centre , Patteson Lodge Estate, 14 Gt. Hautbois Road, Coltishall, Norwich, Norfolk, NR12 7JN
Creative curating: unwrapped at the ARC.
Girlguiding Norfolk's Archive Resource Centre is unique in the UK; the only purpose-built Girlguiding Archive/Museum where we love to bring the guiding history of the past 110 years alive for all ages.
Come and visit us to experience camp skills, learn what Brownies did with cotton reels in the 1940s and how leaders were trained to help displaced persons in Europe and further afield at the end of WWII.
See how we have used our creative streaks to make these accessible to girls and young women, not only in Norfolk but all over the country. Explore for yourself and share your stories with us!
This event took place in September 2023 and the entry is now archived.
