'Worcester News' newspaper archives-Berrows Journals-photographs & negatives illustrated talk
The Civic Society saved from landfill the archives of the Worcester News, containing over a million press cuttings, negatives and photographs. These are being catalogued by volunteers in a secure room below the History & Heritage POD.

Albion Street Church - Free to Explore
A chance to see inside this 1882 Church which has formed a key role in the history of the town. For Architect buffs see how a recent restoration modernised the church, bringing new uses to a historic building.
Alcester Baptist Chapel and Meeting House
The Baptist community in Alcester first met in 1640, one of the earliest Baptist meetings in the country. Take a walk around the original meeting house from 1735, and the later chapel dating from 1860. You can also visit the old burial ground.

Alderson House, Warwick
An outstanding, post Great Fire of Warwick, Georgian building, completed in 1695, retaining many original features and a lovely garden. Once the home of Lord and Lady Ilkeston, it is now the meeting place for the Freemasons of Warwick.

All Saints Church Open Days
All Saints Church will be open from 1000 until 1700 on Saturday, 13th September, followed by a Service of Celebration. On Sunday, 14th September, we will have Morning Worship as normal, and the Church will be open for the rest of the day until 5.00pm.
Anglican Chapel open day
The Anglican Chapel, London Road Cemetery, will be open to visitors from 11am – 5pm and there will be cemetery tours during the day. Talk from Coventry Police Museum at 4pm.
Architecture - Keeping Up Appearances - Decoration and Ornamentation on timber frame buildings in Shrewsbury.
A brief talk at Shrewsbury Drapers` Hall will describe the background to the decoration and ornamentation elements of the Shrewsbury school or style of carpentry. A short walk will follow and visit buildings displaying many of these elements
