Church Open
This Georgian church in the care of The Churches Conservation trust will be open to explore.
Civic Heritage- a look back at the founding of the old Drill Hall, the conversion to a Civic Hall in the 1970s and then the new Civic from the early 2000s.
The Civic in Ormskirk is a building with lots of history which continues to provide a place to enjoy theatre, music, dance and pantomime.
Council Chamber Open Day
The Ormskirk Heritage Hub will be hosting visitors to the West Lancs Borough Council Chamber.
History at the Hayfield
The Hayfield has been serving Ormskirk as a pub and restaurant for many decades and has established a great reputation for community engagement. There will be special interpretation boards displayed at the pub throughout the HODs Festival.

Lathom Park Chapel
Beautiful Chapel dating back to 1500 Historical talk in the Chapel 7pm Friday 18th September on 'Inns and Beerhouses of Lathom.' by Local historian Mrs Dorothy Broady- Hawkes.
Mystery Ormskirk Pubs Heritage Trail
Ormskirk at one time had over 80 open pubs, inns or Beerhouses. This HODs Heritage Trail will include all pubs that survive with each one having a unique list of past licensees.

A display looking at the Countesses of the Earls of Lathom and Derby from the 1000s to the mid 1800s.

Ormskirk Masonic Hall
The Ormskirk Masonic Hall is the meeting place for the Ormskirk & Bootle Group of the Ormskirk Masonic Halls Association. They carry out a number of fund raising events throughout the year , donating to several local causes.
The Art Deco Gem- The Council Chamber
The Council Chamber dating to the 1930s at the West Lancashire Borough Council HQ will host the Ormskirk Heritage Hub CIC presentation entitled- Ormskirk's Civic History - From the Medieval Court Leet to the 21st Century Borough Council
The Coronation Park Footprint History
A heritage based display sited in the Coronation Park Pavilion. Photo displays curated by the Ormskirk Heritage Hub will be available and there will be a guided walk around the park and park perimeter led by the Ormskirk Heritage Hub .
