A Chance to Climb the Tower of Spite - Wainhouse Tower
Wainhouse Tower is a 77 metre tall Victorian observatory-chimney located in Halifax, West Yorkshire, offering panoramic views of the local area. Loved by residents, the circumstances of its construction lead some to refer to it as the Tower of Spite.

Free Entry to Shibden Hall
Set in the picturesque surroundings of Shibden Park, Shibden Hall dates back to 1420 and offers visitors a fascinating journey through the lives of the people who lived and worked there, including the noted diarist Anne Lister (1791-1840).
Greetland Heritage Event
St Thomas’ Church Greetland and West Vale will be open to the public on Saturday 20th September 1030 until 1530. There will be a local history display and access to many areas and artifacts not usually available to the public.
Halifax Minster
Halifax Minster is noted for its stunning architecture. It is a 15th Century Grade 1 listed Parish Church, the third church on the site. The Minster is a place of worship, prayer, civic engagement, education and culture.
