We explore the lives of Harrow’s ordinary people over the centuries.

We explore the lives of Harrow’s ordinary people over the centuries, from the maintenance men on John Lyon’s roads and the Welsh milkmaids who worshipped at the Welsh Congregational Church, to Kodak’s female workforce, the labourers on the Rayners Lane viaduct, the local farmers and the craftsmen who built the Borough’s main heritage buildings.

Judith Shepherd, local resident, and a regular leader of Heritage Open Day Festival Events, will take a look at the Unsung Local Heroes who were our predecessors.
