George Martyn's Barn
31 Main Street, Keyworth, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG12 5AA
This year CAAG is presenting the theme of Everyday Lives with an exhibition in the 375 year old Barn. Visitors can step inside and appreciate the original features and the skills and materials used in producing such a structure all those years ago. The exhibition will explore the lives of Keyworth folk and feature those people who shaped Keyworth in our past, related to farming, framework knitting and local trades.

The building is on one level, but the original threshing floor is uneven, please take care.
Keyworth Conservation Area Advisory Group (CAAG) took on the tenancy of this building in August 2020. We open George Martyn's Barn in conjunction with other local events at other times during the year: at the same time as, for instance the Open Gardens for the National Garden Scheme in the summer and the Keyworth Village Festivities Day in early December.
