Windermere train station 9 miles (14.5km), then catch the 599 Stagecoach bus to Grasmere village. From here, connect to the Northern Lakes line to Windermere.

From the accessible parking space, entry to the house is through the rear door. This is a level entrance, through a manual inwards opening door, fitted with a doorbell. The doorway is 102cm wide. Staff can assist with opening the door if required.
