St Cuthbert's will be open from 1000-1600 on Saturday 12th and 1400-1600 on Sunday 13th September with photos of Old Blaydon and Winlaton alongside displays about local people and the church. Local author Val Scully will be talking about the Stargate pit disaster 200 years ago this year, at 2pm on Saturday. Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
