Discover highlights from the Beaney's collection, including our very own mummified cat, as well as stories about key artworks, artefacts and colourful characters.

Come to The Beaney House of Art and Knowledge on Thursday 18 September at 1430 for a guided tour of the galleries. You will get a chance to explore some of our key artefacts and artworks! Our tour guide will take you around the museum to explore the collection and discuss some of our star objects.

Accessibility details

The Beaney has an accessible entrance at Best Lane, with step-free access into the building, a platform lift, and a flight of ‘easy-going’ steps, which are comfortable for the ambulant disabled and allow for pushchairs and other mobility equipment. A 12 space disabled car park is also available at the rear of the building, Orange Street Car Park.
